How do I go about finding coupons?

There are several ways to find coupons on our site. The easiest way is to click on the dark grey, “find a coupon” button. You will be given a listing of all the coupons that are currently being offered on our site in order of latest updated.

From here you can narrow your search to modify your results, and find coupons that are more targeted towards your needs.

You can also find coupons by clicking on the find a merchant page, and searching for the business that interests you.

Lastly, you can search for a keyword, in the search box near the top of the page.  For example: “Pizza”.

 

Once I find a coupon I am interested in, how do I get it?

You have three different options for receiving a coupon:

Print: Once you find the merchant you want to receive a coupon from, click on the “view coupon” link.  You will see a visual display of the coupon you are requesting, and then a “print” button will appear. Click this and choose the print options for your printer.

E-mail: Once you find the merchant you want to receive a coupon from, click on the “e-mail” link.  A new box will open and ask you to enter the “name” and “e-mail” of the person you are sending the coupon to. You will also be asked for your name and e-mail. Once you fill out the simple form, click send and a coupon will be sent by e-mail to the user you specify.

Text Message: This option allows you to have the coupon of your choice sent to your cell phone by text message. Click the “text message” link and a dialogue box will pop up asking you to enter the 10 digit mobile cell phone you want to have your coupon text messaged to.  Please be aware that normal text messaging fees will be accumulated to your account by your mobile phone provider.

[Text messages usually take about 30 seconds to 2 minutes to arrive to your cell phone. If you do not see it within 2 minutes, click the link again and verify that the number you entered is correct. What does the “Alert Me” button do?

By clicking the “alert me” button on the merchant page of your choice, you are telling our system to send you an e-mail when that business adds a new coupon. This is a great way to be reminded when your favorite local business adds a new coupon.

 

How does the “Show Map” system work?

Click the link that says “show map”, this will slide out a Google map of Bloomington and present four different drop down menus for you to customize your view. By selecting different options from the menus, you can remove pinpoints on the map that are irrelevant to your search. Finally, once you get to the final merchant you want to see, the map will automatically zoom in, and show you the cross streets and location of your final destination. You also have the ability to switch between normal, satellite, and hybrid views, which give you vastly different visual perspectives of the business you are searching for.

 

Can I really customize the way I am displayed with merchant information?

Yes! If you click on the “find a merchant” button, you will be displayed, by default, with all of the merchants on our site. If you look on the left hand side, you will see many different options that allow you to “customize” your search.

Examples: Show me all merchants that are in the 47404 zip code that have an online menu, offer delivery, and take campus access card.
